Student Information Systems and Communication Support

THE ROLE
This role will work closely with the division heads, as well as other admin, to manage all aspects of the Student Information System to ensure the quality of the data. Additionally, this role will serve as support to the Advancement Office by posting web content and being available for fundraising events. This position will serve also as communication support with an emphasis on the school’s tech outlets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Webmaster duties
Website Updates
Website Functionality
Website Push Pages
Student Information System
Managing all aspects of the Student Information System including, but not limited to, master rollover, student and teacher schedule, attendance, grade plan and grade book, courses, and report cards
Train new and current employees on the technology that is used within the school
Monitor and distribute authentication and login access for employees, students, and families
Implement forms and website content in cooperation with the Advancement Office

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Acumen for database management systems, preferably school environment
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot web-hosted technology systems
Writing and editing skills
Proven ability to work on multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Analytical organization skills
Project Management

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field preferred
3+ years of relevant work experience
Experience at an educational institution or non-profit organization is a plus
Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge, Google platforms, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
