Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking an Information Technology and Cybersecurity CTE Teacher.

The teacher is the district's primary agent for instruction with responsibility for presenting the prescribed curriculum effectively and employing a diagnostic/prescriptive approach to identification and subsequent adaptation to the needs and interests of the students.

The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to: - maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content - planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum - maintaining classroom management - planning and delivering effective instruction - promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement - communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students - promoting equity and appreciation of diversity

Qualifications: MA DESE Certification in Voc Tech Teacher: Information Technology Services Cluster, Information Support and Services and Networking 9-14. Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to information support services and networking. Passing score on written and performance tests in information support services and networking; achieve a passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test (VTLST). Ability to use data to plan for, assess, and modify instruction. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
