TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, 12-month, benefited position in the 3000 broadband, exempt from FLSA (not overtime eligible).

SALARY: $70,000+ (dependent on experience) minimum annual salary plus a competitive benefits package including a generous retirement plan and employer paid family health insurance.

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, and maintaining the security environment to support PeopleSoft applications. This position will develop and implement PeopleSoft application information systems security plans and procedures, perform security reviews and access audits, recommend security solutions, advise on application-level security configurations, provide security education for end users, and investigate security risks as required. This position is responsible for all aspects of managing and monitoring access to PeopleSoft resources, including pages, processes, queries, trees, reports, components, services, integrations, customizations, and tools. The position is to work closely with other teams to improve efficiency in the security request and fulfillment process. This position maintains security in all environments in support of development, testing, and production. This position reports to the Applications Security Manager for the North Dakota University System (NDUS) and serves the Core Technology Services (CTS) group and the NDUS member institutions.

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a technology and/or security environment • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments

Preferred Qualifications: • 1 year of experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59; planning, designing, and configuring User Profiles & Preferences, Static & Dynamic Roles, Permission Lists, Query Security, Process Profiles and Definition Security • Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools including query and writing SQL • Security or technology industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, SANS GIAC, CompTIA, or similar) • Previous experience in higher education • Experience with multi-factor authentication systems and solutions
