Senior Systems Programmer
Senior Systems Programmer, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus, OH. Support Nationwide Children's current web and mobile application development team initiatives. Projects span from external website, intranet, and many custom developed applications both new and currently in production that require support. Create web services that support the website and external clients. Work/develop with Sitecore, an integrated .NET CMS platform that combines customer data, analytics, and marketing automation. Support existing .NET, Coldfusion, and Wordpress applications and websites. Develop new .NET applications. Work on collaborative, agile software development team. Contribute to the overall design, build, and implementation of new .NET applications. Develop, test, and deploy existing and new applications according to supplied requirements. Produce and maintain technical specification documents. Telecommuting option - employee must live in Ohio. Min. requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or Digital Sciences plus 5 years of web development experience using the .NET stack (C#), including coding with C#, working with SQL Server DB, creating and working with RESTful web services, and using Entity Framework; 5 years using a UI scripting (Javascript, jquery); 3 years using a UI framework (React, Angular, etc.); 1 year working with a Content Management System (Sitecore, Wordpress, Joomla, etc.); 1 year using scripting components (ASP, JSP, PHP); 5 years using a source control system (GitHub, Subversion, etc.); 5 years using automated build tool (TeamCity, Hudson, etc.); 3 years using an automated deployment tool (Octopus, etc.); 3 years working in an Agile environment; 3 years working with Business Analysts or End Users to determine requirements.
