Jasper Group, which has facilities in Jasper and Orleans IN, is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or upgrading PCs, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming service requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot issues related to personal computer hardware, software, and operating systems; printers; email; network/internet access and phone system
- Document all activity in a timely manner using the internal Help Desk System
- Reassign and/or escalate service requests in a timely manner to the appropriate resource and level when necessary
- Assist with internal projects that improve the overall effectiveness of the Help Desk Team
- Setup and configure PC’s and printers
- Deploy software using internal deployment tools
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a Help Desk or related IT position
- Excellent knowledge of computers, peripherals and accessories
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Understands concepts of Microsoft server related functions such as Active Directory and File Share Security
- Understanding of Cisco Call Manager a plus
- Experience with CNC Equipment a plus
