STUDENT DATA ASSISTANT
Under direction, is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, researching, and resolving student enrollment issues by using multiple computer applications; performs related duties as required.
Examples of Work
Reviews and monitors student records from various systems which store student data information to confirm residency, enrollment dates, eligibility, and data quality;
Creates Statewide Student Identifiers (SSID); deletes duplicate SSIDs;
Researches all residency, enrollment, eligibility, and data errors; communicates with appropriate sources to make necessary data corrections;
Communicates with internal and external school personnel concerning community and voucher school students;
Enters data into various student data information systems, such as Infinite Campus and related applications;
Verifies student data for internal and external customers;
Responds to requests for enrollment information from parents, guardians, and community members.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of the twelfth school grade and one (1) year of secretarial or clerical experience with Columbus City Schools or other school districts, or comparable experience which includes working with student data information applications.
